Weed is on the agenda at Tillamook City Hall, Thursday night.

After failing to meet a quorum on Oct. 6 for a hearing that would decide whether or not the Odd Fellows Building would be able to locate a commercial marijuana grow operation, the City of Tillamook Planning Commission will attempt to entertain the hearing on Thursday at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.

If approved, no retail, sales or exterior structural changes would occur on the premises and five grow rooms will be surrounded with a perimeter walkway along the exterior foundation walls, according to a staff report provided.

In a previous story, the Headlight-Herald noted Tamra Jacobs was the only required commissioner needed to meet a quorum. In reality, due to a diminished staff, either her or commissioner Nick Hahn was needed in attendance for the meeting to commence. Neither was available.
