Denver – Colorado marijuana sales broke another record in August, according to The Denver Post.
The newspaper reports that $126 million in medical and recreational marijuana were sold in our in state in August, beating the previous record of $122.67 million that was set in July.
Recreational marijuana sales made up $84.7 million of the total marijuana sales, with medical marijuana sales reaching $41.4 million.
The Denver Post report cites an economist who attributes the record sales to the summer season and tourism.
