Bradenton, Fla. – Bradenton is one step closer to opening a medical marijuana dispensary.
The Tallahassee company Trulieve closed on a property earlier this week that includes two vacant buildings for the proposed dispensary located on 14th Street West, near downtown Bradenton.
Trulieve’s CEO believes there is a need for the dispensary in the area. The location was chosen because of its proximity to Manatee Memorial Hospital and downtown Bradenton.
However, the proposal still needs to go through the planning process before development can begin. The Bradenton dispensary would be Trulieve’s fifth Florida dispensary.
