Concord, NH – The NH Department of Health and Human Services has issued a registration certificate to Prime Alternative Treatment Center (ATC), for its therapeutic cannabis dispensary in Merrimack, according to a press statement. Primes dispensary will begin operations on Thursday, Aug. 11, at which point qualifying patients and designated caregivers registered with Prime ATC will be able to obtain therapeutic cannabis. The medical marijuana facility held a tour for members of the press on Aug. 10.
According to state officials, Primes dispensary is the fourth and final dispensary to begin operations as part of the States Therapeutic Cannabis program, which is now fully launched. Dispensaries are now open in Plymouth, Dover, and Lebanon.
“Qualifying patients and designated caregivers must select one of the four ATC dispensaries and can only obtain therapeutic cannabis at their designated ATC,” according Nicola Whitley of the NH DHHS.
Applications for potentially qualifying patients and designated caregivers, medical provider certification, and other important information can be found on the Therapeutic Cannabis Program page on the DHHS website at dhhs.nh.gov/oos/tcp/index.htm.
